It is only upon retiring that Rachel seriously took up oil painting as a hobby, and she has never looked back.

 

Rachel’s paintings are well noted to have a certain modernism and grace. The colours and shading the artist uses are subtly expressive and sentimental.

The artist attended art courses at the Ottawa School of Art and has participated in numerous artist workshops. Rachel previously exhibited at the Galerie Christinin in Toronto, Ontario and at the Just Imagine home décor store in the village of Manotick, just outside Ottawa, Ontario.
